Bozour Theater

Buzoor Theatre Association for Culture and Arts held a meeting with the Jerusalem Association for Solidarity with the Peoples of the Arab World to discuss the current situation in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis, and to explore the role of arts and theatre in supporting and promoting the psychological and social well-being of children and families during times of crises and war.

The meeting highlighted the importance of theatre, the arts, and puppet shows in providing children with safe spaces to express their feelings and alleviate the psychological impact of stress and trauma. It also emphasized the role of artistic activities in fostering hope, cooperation, and a sense of community belonging.

Ms. Wissam Al-Dairawi, Executive Director of Buzoor Theatre Association, stressed the importance of strengthening cultural and humanitarian partnerships to support children in the Gaza Strip, while developing artistic and theatrical programs that contribute to building their psychological and social capacities and help them regain a sense of safety and stability.
