Today, the journey of the people of Al-Mujawara in Deir al-Balah began.

At the first meeting, participants came together to get to know one another, share aspects of their experiences, interests, and expectations, and learn about the concept of Al-Mujawara and the journey that will bring them together in the coming period.

The meeting marked the beginning of the group’s formation and the building of relationships among its members. It offered an initial space for listening and discovering the experiences, voices, and questions each person brings, shaped by their lives and communities.

From here, the journey of the people of Al-Mujawara continues. In the coming sessions, the group will delve deeper into their experiences and stories, explore the issues that emerge among them, identify the resources and capacities within their surroundings, and then transform what they learn into stories and action.

This is how Al-Mujawara began—with its people.
And from here, we continue the journey.
